Red Storm Finishes 21st At NCAA Men's Golf

Junior Keegan Bradley had three birdies and shot a 2-over-par round of 74 to lead St. John's University players Saturday in the final round of the 2007 NCAA East Regional Championship.
The event was played at the Lakeside Course at the Golf Club of Georgia, with Georgia Tech serving as the host institution.
Bradley's 74 gave him a 54-hole total of 222, tying him for 32nd place to lead St. John's individually.
Mike Ballo also registered three birdies on the day to shoot a 2-over-par 74. Ballo, who on Friday shot a 1-under-par 71, finished the tournament with a total of 231.
Kevin Velardo (+6 Saturday; 235 total), Dan Mollicone (+11 Saturday; 243 total) and George Zolotas (+7 Saturday; 248 total) rounded out the Red Storm's individual scores.
As a team, St. John's shot a 305 on the final day for a 923 total and 21st place finish.
Billy Horschel of Florida shot a 68 on Saturday to climb into a tie for first place individually with a 6-under-par total of 210. Brendon Todd of Georgia also finished at 210, one stroke better than teammate Chris Kirk and Kyle Stanley of Clemson.
Top-ranked Georgia posted a score of 7-under-par 281 to run away with the team title at 855. Florida, Auburn and Georgia Tech tied for second at 867. Clemson and Coastal Carolina needed a playoff for the 10th and final team spot for the NCAA Championships. Both teams tied for 10th at 884 and needed the extra hole to break the tie.
The top 10 teams and two individuals not on qualifying teams advanced to the NCAA Championships, to be held May 30 to June 2 in Williamsburg, Va.
