St. John's Hosts The McLaughlin This Weekend At Bethpage

QUEENS, N.Y. - Head coach Frank Darby and the Red Storm men's golf team will host the McLaughlin this weekend at the 6,685-yard, Red Course at Bethpage in Farmingdale, N.Y. The tournament begins on Friday, Sept. 21 and continues into Saturday, Sept. 22.
"We have an outstanding field lined up for this year's event," said Darby. "I look forward to a real shootout between some very talented teams."
Rounds will start at 8:30 a.m. on Friday with a shotgun start and two rounds being played that day. Tee times on Saturday start at 7:30 a.m.
The field will be made up of fifteen teams including St. John's, Columbia, UConn, Creighton, Drexel, George Washington, Harvard, Hofstra, Iona, Jacksonville State, Johnson & Wales, Pennsylvania, Princeton, Seton Hall, St. Thomas Aquinas, Temple and West Florida.
The Red Storm is coming off a third place finish in their first tournament of year and an Individual title by senior co-captain Keegan Bradley. Bradley, senior George Zolotas, junior Kevin Velardo, and sophomores Evan Beirne and Mike Ballo Jr. make up the starting five for St. John's. Sophomore Dan Mollicone will be competing as an individual.
