- With a season-best and game-high 24 points in the win today, senior Monique McLean entered the Top 10 in St. John's all-time scoring record book. McLean passed Kerry Karst and now sits at No. 10 all-time with 1,206 career points. The Newport News, Va., native has been the Red Storm's leading scorer in three games this season.
- St. John's head coach Kim Barnes Arico continues to get closer to her 100th career victory at St. John's. With the win today, Barnes Arico's record improves to 92-91 and she sits just eight wins away from the milestone.
- The Red Storm shot a season-best 54.3-percent from the field today.
- Junior Joy McCorvey wasted no time matching her career-high in steals as she registered all four swipes on the day in the opening 12 minutes of play. McCorvey also tied her personal-best with six free throws as part of her 12-point performance in the victory. The Brewton, Ala., native finished with three rebounds, one block and one steal.
- Freshman Da'Shena Stevens chipped in with 10 points for the fourth double-digit scoring effort of her young career and came within two rebounds of a double-double, bringing down a team-high eight boards.
- Sophomore Sky Lindsay had a season-high 10 points, capping off the first game this season that St. John's had four players score in double-figures. Lindsay also dished out a game-high three assists.
