- St. John's scored 81 points, its highest point total of the season.
- The Red Storm took its first lead at 15:44 of the first half when Sky Lindsay nailed a jumper, pushing the score to 8-7. St. John's never trailed again in the game.
- From 15:44 to 12:38 of the first half, the Red Strom went on an 11-0 run to extend its lead to 17-7.
- St. John's went on a 6-0 run in the final 1:10 to close out the first half with a 45-29 lead.
- At the start of the second half, Buffalo was first to score but St. John's went on a 12-0 run after to build its lead to 57-31.
- 3-point specialist Kelly McManmon recorded her first multiple 2-point field goal game of the season, finishing 4-for-5 from inside the 3-point arc.
- McManmon posted 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting, her second highest point total this year.
- Senior Monique McLean became the all-time 3-point leader for St. John's when she tallied her 145th trey at 9:55 in the first half. She finished with three from beyond the arc to bring her total to 147 in her career.
- McLean scored 27 points on 7-of-15 shooting, setting a new season high.
- McLean went 7-for-7 from the free throw line in the first half and finished 10-of-11 on the game, setting a new season high.
- With a jumper at 15:21 in the second half, McLean moved into sole possession of eighth on the all-time scoring list. She now has 1,290 total points for her career. The senior is nine points shy of taking over seventh place.
- Junior Joy McCorvey tallied 11 points and grabbed eight boards, tying her third highest mark in both categories this year. Her three assists matched her season-high.
- Freshman Da'Shena Stevens finished with nine points and 10 rebounds, one point shy of her second career double-double. Her 10 boards were her second highest total.
- Point guard Britney Murphy dished out five assists, the second highest total of her rookie season.
- Junior Victoria Hodges played in her fifth game this season, recording her first-ever free throws and second career rebound.
