St. John's Travels To New England To Face Two BIG EAST Foes

Storrs, Conn. - The Red Storm softball team will take on the Huskies at 1 p.m. at the UConn Softball Field. The doubleheader will take place was pushed back in order to have the field ready for play after heavy rains last night.

Game-time was initially scheduled for noon, but rains in the area required a later start time in order to let grounds crews prepare the field for doubleheader action.

This is the first game of four-game, two-day road trip through New England for the Red Storm. After its doubleheader today against UConn, the team will head to Rhode Island for a matchup versus the Friars of Providence.
