Bradley And Ballo Jr. Named To PING All-Region Team

PING Division I All-Region Selections
QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's men's golfers Keegan Bradley and Mike Ballo Jr. were recognized for their outstanding play this season by being selected to the Division I PING Mid-Atlantic All-Region team by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The Mid-Atlantic region consists of the top 15 individuals in the region. All members of the All-Region teams are also eligible for PING All-America honors.
Senior co-captain Bradley capped off one the top individual seasons in St. John's history after being selected to compete as an individual at the NCAA East Regional in Chattanooga, Tenn. Bradley boasts titles at the Hawk's Invitational, Palmas Del Mar Intercollegiate, Ironwood Pirate Invitational and the Princeton Invitational. The All-America candidate also tallied two second place finishes. Bradley is currently ranked 37th with a 71.17 scoring average and was ranked as high as No. 27 in the Golfstat Cup Rankings.
Sophomore Ballo Jr. was instrumental to the Red Storm's success this season. Ballo Jr. led St. John's to the title at the Roadrunner Intercollegiate in San Antonio, placing second overall. On the season, the second year golfer tallied four top-10 finishes and was ranked as high as No. 72 in the Golfstat Cup Rankings. Ballo battled back through a late season shoulder injury and is currently ranked No. 153 with a 72.63.
With individual success, the Red Storm triumphed to nine team medals on the season, including three first place, two second place and four third place finishes.
