There were 12 tie-scores in the third set, with the most decisive coming at 17-17. The Orange scored the next three points before a Ramdin kill made it 20-18. SU held the lead, 24-21 and another kill by Ramdin added the final point for St. John's before the Orange got the final point and the 25-22 set win.
SU led by as many as 12 in the fourth set, powering past the Red Storm with five kills from Annabelle Pellerin for the 25-14 set win to claim the match, 3-1.
Song recorded her ninth double-double of the season with a match-high 20 kills and 11 digs, while teammate Jordan Haskins added a career-high seven kills. Ramdin finished with 14 kills for the Red Storm as freshman Gabriela Petkova registered 42 helpers. Freshman Ashley Asing led the team with 16 digs.
