St. John's Will Battle Princeton On ESPNU

QUEENS, N.Y. - The St. John's men's soccer team (3-2-6) will take to the field on Oct. 14 against Princeton (4-5-1) in a game that will be televised nationally on ESPNU. Kick off is slated for 6:04 p.m. from Roberts Stadium in Princeton, N.J.
Justin Kutcher will handle the play-by-play, while Cat Whitehill, a defender on the U.S. Women's National Team, will provide the color analysis.
St. John's has gone 3-2-0 in TV games in the past two seasons, including a 1-1-0 mark on ESPNU. The squad clinched the 2008 Red Division regular season title by defeating Cincinnati, 2-0, in a game televised by the Fox Soccer Channel. The Red Storm also had a pair of games on the CBS College Sports Network, a 2-0 win against DePaul in the 2008 BIG EAST Tournament Semifinals and a 1-0 double overtime loss to USF in the BIG EAST Tournament Finals. The Red Storm was defeated 1-0 in double overtime by Maryland in the 2008 College Cup Semifinals on ESPNU and also defeated Rutgers, 1-0, in the 2007 season on ESPNU.
The Red Storm is riding a four-game unbeaten streak (1-0-3) into the Princeton game.
