On tonight's game:
"I'm proud of the way we battled back. We could have faded there at times and we really fought back. We got after them with our pressure and we defended like crazy. Joy McCorvey was all over the place. And I was just proud of our overall effort."
On the BIG EAST:
"I don't know how anybody can question that the BIG EAST is not the best league in the country. But I think to get any win at this point is good because our confidence has been down. We lost four close games: in overtime, by three, by two and by one. If we win those four games, we'd be sitting at 7-2. We'd be in a very different state mentally. So I think it was really important for us to get this win because it doesn't get any easier down the road."
