Rain Cancels St. John's-Hofstra Matchup

QUEENS, N.Y. - Officials for the St. John's and Hofstra softball teams have decided to cancel the non-conference matchup between the Red Storm and Pride scheduled for Wednesday, April 22 at 4 p.m.
Rain in the Hempstead area is expected to last into the night and make field conditions unplayable.
The Red Storm is back in action this weekend when the team continues its BIG EAST schedule. The squad hosts Connecticut this Saturday, in a doubleheader at noon at Red Storm Field before taking on Providence in a two-game set at home for senior day at noon on Sunday.
