Cloutier Named To BIG EAST All-Conference Team

QUEENS, N.Y. - Red Storm junior golfer Renee Cloutier was selected to the BIG EAST All-Conference Team as announced by on Thursday. Cloutier was one of eleven golfers named to the squad, chosen by the head coaches of the conference.
Cloutier was a strong performer for St. John's all season, and opened the year with the individual title at the Princeton Invitational with a 3-over 147. The junior followed up her first-career and seventh program individual championship with a sixth place finish at the ECAC Golf Championship.
In the second tournament of the spring season, Cloutier took fourth overall at the EKU El Diablo Intercollegiate. She also matched her personal best for a low round with a 69 on the final day of the event which tied her own program record for a low score set in 2006
The junior once again led the Red Storm at the BIG EAST Championship, tying for 11th overall and helped the team to a sixth-place finish.
