QUEENS, N.Y. -
St. John's softball head coach Amy Kvilhaug's fourth annual Amy Kvilhaug Fall Hitting and Pitching Clinic has been moved indoors to Carnesecca Arena's auxiliary gym due to inclement weather on Saturday, Sept. 12.The clinic, originally scheduled to be held at Red Storm Field, is open to softball players as young as 10 years old to those who are high school seniors. The hitting session will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the pitching session is from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Kvilhaug, St. John's softball assistant coaches Laura Taylor and Andy Russo and the entire Red Storm softball team will serve as the clinic's instructors. Last year, with 50 young hitters and pitchers in attendance, the clinic's participants received close attention and tutelage from the St. John's coaches and players.
Hitters should bring their own bats, helmets and batting gloves (if necessary). Those attending the pitching session should bring their gloves.
