Army Tops St. John's, 5-2

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The St. John's women's tennis team traveled to Army on Sunday to face against the Black Knights, but fell 5-2 in the rescheduled match.
The Red Storm falls to 1-7 on the season, while Army improves to 7-5 with the match.
Joanna Zwirbulis notched her fifth singles-win of the season on Sunday against Army with a straight-set victory over Erin Colton in the No. 2 position (6-3, 6-4).
Ksenia Mikhaylova brought home the other singles win at the No. 4 slot over Jessica Ahn in three sets, 6-0, 3-6, 7-5. She is now 4-4 on the season in singles play.
Zwirbulis and Nakita Austin claimed the lone doubles match at No. 2 over Colton and Annie Hang, 8-2.
St. John's returns to action on Wednesday, March 10 at George Washington.
