CITRUS SPRINGS, Fla. - Friday’s rain and thunderstorms in Citrus Springs, Fla., have cancelled St. John’s women’s golf team’s first tournament of the spring, the EKU El Diablo Intercollegiate at El Diablo Golf & Country Club.
Inclement weather on Thursday cancelled the day's scheduled 36 holes and the same conditions prevented the play of a single 18-hole round on Friday.
The field included Austin Peay, Barry, Belmont, Eastern Kentucky, IPFW, IUPUI, Lehigh, Murray State, Old Dominion, Southern Illinois, Southern Illinois Edwardsville, St. John’s, Tennessee Tech, USC Upstate and Western Kentucky.
The Red Storm will open its 2010 spring slate March 20-21 in the C&F Bank Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va.
