QUEENS, N.Y. - Winners of five-straight BIG EAST series, the St. John's baseball team continues a five-game homestand with a three-game BIG EAST set against USF. The teams are currently tied for fourth in the BIG EAST standings with identical 12-6 conference records. The series opens with a 6 p.m. game on May 7 and continues at 1 p.m. on May 8. The teams will conclude the series on May 9 with a noon contest.

- Blankmeyer, who recorded his 400th win on Feb. 24, 2008, needed just 801 games (500-298-3) to reach the 500 milestone.
Baltz, Hansen Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
- Following a 3-1 week that included a series win at Notre Dame, freshmen Jeremy Baltz and Kyle Hansen have each been named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll.
- A three-time honor roll selection, Baltz batted .471 (8-for-17) with two doubles and led the team in home runs (3), RBI (7), total bases (19) and slugging percentage (1.118).
- Hansen won his third-straight start, improving his record to 6-1, after striking out nine and allowing just one run in a career-high 7.2 innings.
