St. John's Takes Eighth Place At Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - The St. John's women's golf team carded a final-round 319 on Sunday and took eighth place in the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club.
The Red Storm finished with a 317-315-319-951 (+87). Yale won the team title with a 32-over 896. Tournament host Princeton (35-over 899) and Pennsylvania (43-over 907) rounded out the top three. Yale's See Hee Moon won the individual title with a 3-under 213.
St. John's freshman Harin Lee led the team for the second straight tournament. The Bayside native finished tied for 11th after carding a 75-75-78-228 (+12). Lee tied for fourth in par-4 scoring with a 4.17 (+5) average.
Sophomore Mariana Barrios tied for 35th after shooting 76-80-82-238 (+22). Sophomore Sebin Kim finished with an 81-80-81-242 (+26) to tie for 43rd. Freshman Stephanie Eybers finished strong with a 6-over 78 in the final round to finish at 27-over 243 and tie for 45th. Ellen Oswald finished in 58th after shooting 93-82-85-260 (+44).
The Red Storm will next compete in the Yale Women's Intercollegiate from Sept. 25-26 at the Course at Yale.
