Red Storm's Doubleheader Vs. Villanova Moved To Thursday

QUEENS, N.Y. - With expected inclement weather in the New York area on Wednesday, the St. John's softball team has pushed its doubleheader against BIG EAST rival Villanova back one day to Thursday with a 2 p.m. start.

The Red Storm (16-23, 3-6 BIG EAST) and the Wildcats (15-21, 2-7 BIG EAST) will play for the first time since the teams split a doubleheader on April 13, 2009, at VU Softball Complex. Villanova leads the all-time series 31-20. STJ and VU have split all three of the doubleheaders they have squared off in since 2007.
