St. John's Continues Homestand Against Princeton

QUEENS, N.Y.- After a three-game sweep of Louisville at The Jack, St. John's (19-13) continues its season-long eight game homestand with a 7 p.m. midweek game against Princeton on April 19.
Notables
- St. John's is 9-0 at home this season, including a 6-0 mark in BIG EAST play.
- As of the April 18 BIG EAST rankings, St. John's is third in on-base percentage (.377), fourth in runs (207) and home runs (17), and fifth in RBI (176) and slugging percentage (.379). The Red Storm also leads the league in fielding percentage (.974).

Panik Earns Second-Career BIG EAST Player Of The Week Honor
- Following the Red Storm's series sweep of Louisville, Joe Panik has been named the BIG EAST Player of the Week for the second time in his career.
- The shortstop now has three conference honors this season, including a pair of weekly honor roll selections.
- Panik batted .429 (6-for-14) with a double, a home run, six RBI, a .467 on-base percentage and a .714 slugging percentage.
- The shortstop had a pair of multi-hit games and had an RBI in all three contests, including four in the series finale.
Red Storm Grabs Walk-Off Win No. 3 As Baltz Records Second Walk-Off Hit Of 2010
- Jeremy Baltz capped a three-run ninth inning with a walk-off single in a 6-5 win against Louisville (April 17) as the Red Storm recorded its third walk-off win of the season.
- Baltz now has two walk-off hits this season, also adding a single in the 10th inning of a 2-1 win against Fairfield (March 15) in the home-opener.
- St. John's also won in walk-off fashion against Cincinnati (March 27) after a Frankie Schwindel walk-off single in the 10th completed a three-game sweep of the Bearcats.
