Red Storm In Fourth After Round One At Lehigh

UPPER SAUCON, Pa. - The St. John's women's golf team is in fourth place after the first round of the Lehigh University Invitational, shooting a 308(+20) on the opening day of the tournament at Saucon Valley Country Club.
Junior Harin Lee led the way for the Red Storm on day one, shooting a three-over 75 to tie for fifth heading into the second round, three shots off the individual lead of Rutgers' Kourtnie Maxoutopouli.
Several Red Storm golfers are in the hunt after round one as junior Jennifer Neville shot a 77(+5) and is tied for 11th, while junior Rachel Carpenter and senior Sebin Kim shot 78(+6) to tie for 13th. Junior Stephanie Eybers shot an 83(+11) to round out the scoring for the Red Storm.
Rutgers is leading the competition after an opening round 301(+13), seven shots ahead of St. John's. Seton Hall is in second at 305(+17), while Princeton sits in third at 307(+19).
The final round of the Lehigh University Invitational will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday with a shotgun start. Final results will be posted on RedStormSports.com at the conclusion of the round.
