Red Storm Gets Set For 2012 McLaughlin

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Bethpage State Park - site of the 2002 and 2009 U.S. Open Championships - will play host to some of college golf's elite this weekend as St. John's hosts the 2012 McLaughlin at the Bethpage Red Course Saturday and Sunday.
There will be 16 teams in the McLaughlin field this year: Auburn, Bethune-Cookman, Binghamton, Columbia, Dartmouth, Florida Southern, Harvard, Hofstra, Johnson & Wales, Loyola Marymount, Louisville, Marquette, Princeton, Temple, defending champion West Florida and St. John's.
The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday as players will tee off from the first and 10th tees starting at 7:30 a.m. The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday with tee times for the third round announced on Saturday night.
All six St. John's golfers will be in the field with senior Jeremy Quinn first off the tee at 7:50. Classmate Ryan Gay goes off at 8:00, sophomore Dylan Crowley tees off at 8:10, senior Pat Wilson starts at 8:20 and junior Ryan McCormick rounds out the group going off at 8:30. Sophomore Mitch Hadfield, competing as an individual, will tee off at 8:20 on the 10th tee.
Results for the McLaughlin will be available on RedStormSports.com after the conclusion of each day of play.
