QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's (12-7, 1-2) continues BIG EAST play at home in Carnesecca Arena with a pair of matches against two conference rivals it is quite familiar with. The Red Storm will take on Georgetown (6-10, 0-3) on Friday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m., before playing Villanova (10-6, 2-1) on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m. St. John's is 4-0 at home this season.

- Junior Aleksandra Wachowicz is third with three.
- Junior Ashley Boursiquot is fourth with one.
- As a team, SJU has 14 double-doubles, which exceeds last season's total of 13.
- In 2012, Palgutova led the squad with seven double-doubles.
THIRD SET BATTLE VS. XAVIER RESULTS IN HIGHEST-SCORING SET OF SJU'S SEASON
- St. John's fought off a sweep at the hands of the Musketeers on Oct. 6 with a 34-32 third set victory.
- The 66 points are the most in a set played by the Red Storm this season.
- SJU nearly stole the fourth set, rallying for five-straight points while Xavier held match point, but the Mustketeers won the game, 25-23, and the match, 3-1.

St. John's will conclude its home-and-home series against Georgetown and Villanova on the road next weekend. The Red Storm will take on the Wildcats in Villanova, Pa., on Friday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m. and the Hoyas in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m.
