Team Notes
- St. John's extended its win streak to six-straight victories, the most consecutive conference wins since the 2011-12 season.
- In 18 out of St. John's 19 games the Red Storm has had a senior hit a 3-pointer as the trio has combined for 47-of-66 makes from behind the arc.
- The Red Storm entered halftime with a 37-30 advantage and improved to 11-1 when leading after the opening 20 minutes.
- St. John's had four student-athletes record double figures against the Hoyas, the third time this season four or more have hit double digits.
Individual Notes
- Aliyyah Handford surpassed the 600 point mark after scoring 13 points on Sunday night. She has now has registered 611 career points.
- Danaejah Grant exceeded 100 points for her Red Storm career following her 16-point performance against the Hoyas.
- Amber Thompson tied her career-high with four blocks against Georgetown. It's the second time in three games Thompson has recorded four denials.
- Eugeneia McPherson netted a season-high 16 points after going 3-for-5 from behind the arc and 3-of-6 from the charity stripe.
- Briana Brown has now hit a 3-pointer in 15 out of the Red Storm's 19 games. St. John's is now 12-3 when Brown knocks in at least one shot from behind the arc.
