Team Notes
- The Red Storm fell in the BIG EAST Tournament championship game for the first time in program history; they were previously 3-0 in the tournament final, winning in 1983, '84, and '88.
- The Red Storm held DePaul to just 20.0% from beyond the arc, as the Blue Demons shot 3-of-15 from long range.
- In their final BIG EAST Tournament, the three Red Storm seniors, Eugeneia McPherson, Briana Brown and Keylantra Langley, each tallied a 3-pointer. The trio are now 85-of-224 from beyond the arc this season.
Individual Notes
- With seven first-half points Aliyyah Handford broke SJU's 38-year-old record of most points by a sophomore with 510 set by Sue Bretthauer in 1975-76. Handford now has 517 points on the season.
- Along with her team-leading 13 points, Aliyyah Handford recorded five steals in the game, matching her career high against BIG EAST opponents (Butler, Jan. 15)
- Eugeneia McPherson hit her 100th career three-point field goal on Tuesday night, becoming the seventh player in program history to reach triple digits in total makes from behind the arc.
- Senior guard Keylantra Langley went 3-3 from 3-point land, tying her career-high and marking the third time this season that she has connected on three triples.
