Erin Burner Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

QUEENS, N.Y. - For the third time this season, junior Erin Burner was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after a 3-for-4 performance against Iona on March 27.
The junior led the Red Storm (14-15, 0-2 BIG EAST) with a 3-for-4 performance including a pair of home runs while adding five RBI, three runs and walk to lead St. John's to a 13-7 victory over the Gaels. The honor marks the fourth of her career after being named to the weekly honor roll three times already this season.
The Red Storm returns to action on Tuesday in a conference doubleheader against new BIG EAST foe Butler with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.
