QUEENS, N.Y. - Former St. John's men's golf star Keegan Bradley got to experience a dream come true on Tuesday as he joined the rest of the U.S. Presidents Cup team for a visit to the White House where President Barack Obama honored the national squad for their fifth-consecutive Presidents Cup victory last October.
"We are extraordinarily proud of our Presidents Cup team," Obama said. "I hope the World Cup team takes a page out of their play book when they play Germany on Thursday."
The 2013 Presidents Cup performance was a first for Bradley, who teamed up with Phil Mickelson to win two of their three matches before falling 2&1 to Charl Schwartzel in the Sunday singles.
Held every two years, the 2015 Presidents Cup will take place at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Songdo, Incheon, Korea from Oct. 6-11, 2015.
