Martinov and Moar Named to BIG EAST All-Tournament Team

QUEENS, N.Y. - Sophomores Mikhaila Martinov and Allie Moar were named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team, it was announced last night by the conference following Butler's 1-0 win over Providence in the league's championship match.

The classmates played exceptionally well for the Red Storm in the team's 2-1 loss to the eventual champion Bulldogs on Friday evening. Martinov logged the full 90 minutes and recorded a career-high five shots, all five of which were on target. Moar tallied 87 minutes of action in the midfield for Coach Ian Stone, registering one shot.

The Red Storm will learn its postseason fate this afternoon, as the NCAA Selection Show will be broadcast at 4:30 p.m. ET on NCAA.com.
