Obe Ayton Named BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week

QUEENS, N.Y. -- Senior Obe Ayton was named the BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week after an impressive start to his final season with the Red Storm.
The right-hander kicked off the 2015 season with a pair of Top-5 finishes in the early going this spring. Carding three-consecutive rounds under par, Ayton was able to earn a tie for second place overall at the Neville Kovacs Group Intercollegiate on Feb. 22-24 before taking a fifth place finish at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate, carding a 214 (-2) in the three-round event.
Ayton and the rest of the Red Storm will return to action on April 11-12 as it heads to Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, New Jersey, to compete in the 2015 Princeton Invitational.
