Ayton, Crowley Earn All-BIG EAST Honors

May 11, 2015 QUEENS, N.Y. -- The dynamic senior duo of Dylan Crowley and Obe Ayton were recognized for their impressive final season with the Red Storm on Monday as the pair earned spots on the 2015 All-BIG EAST team.
Crowley earned his second-consecutive league honor after forcing a three-hole playoff in the 2015 BIG EAST Championship, defeating Marquette's Patrick Sanchez to earn the first collegiate title of his career on the biggest stage in the league. This year, Crowley has posted up a 73.62 stroke average and has picked up a pair of Top-10 finishes to combine for a 74.67 career-stroke average after competing in 38 events and 108 rounds of play.
Ayton was named to an All-BIG EAST selection after an impressive senior campaign that led him to the No. 3 overall seed in the 2015 BIG EAST Championship. The senior finished his final year with the Red Storm with seven Top-10 finishes that included a pair of runner-up finishes at the Loyola Invite pres. By Neville Kovacs Group and the Princeton Invitational before finishing in a three-way tie for third at the BIG EAST Championship. Ayton ended his senior year with a 72.88 stroke average.
