NCAA Selection Show Watch Party Set for Monday Night

QUEENS, N.Y. - After capturing its first BIG EAST title in nearly three decades, the St. John’s Red Storm will host an on-campus selection show party on Monday night. The festivities will take place inside D’Angelo Center beginning at 6 p.m., with the bracket announcement starting an hour after that.
The celebration, which is open to the public and sponsored by Women’s Basketball, RedZone and Student Affairs, will feature food and beverages for all in attendance.
The Red Storm has clinched its 10th NCAA Tournament appearance and its sixth in the last seven years thanks to three-straight victories at the BIG EAST Tournament in Chicago this past week. After downing No. 5 Georgetown in the quarterfinals, the fourth-seeded Red Storm then knocked off Regular Season Champion DePaul on its home floor before outlasting Creighton in the title game.
