QUEENS, N.Y. -- The St. John's softball team (11-8) visits Radford (9-10) on Sunday for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. before heading to Maryland (4-18-1) for a 3 p.m. showdown in College Park on Monday.

SERIES HISTORY
St. John's is 3-2 all-time against Radford. The Johnnies defeated the Highlanders, 6-2, on March 8, 2013 the last time the two teams squared off.
Maryland holds a 4-1 overall record against the Red Storm with St. John's only win coming by a final score of 11-3 in 2012.
LEADING OFF
The Johnnies head to the road playing their best ball with six wins in the team's last seven games, sparked by come-from-behind wins over Oregon State and Cal State Fullerton.
The Red Storm is batting .301 as a team and has outscored its opponents 88-to-69 through 19 games.
Freshman Kaitlin Mattera and Gretchen Bowie lead the production for a team that is batting .301 at the plate. Mattera is leading the team in hitting with a .426 average to go with 13 RBIs, while Bowie is pacing the offense with 14 RBIs and 12 runs on 10 extra base hits.
Over the past seven games, Christina Melendez is batting .478 with seven runs and six RBIs, while Savannah Warren is hitting .476 with eight RBIs and three runs.
The Red Storm pitching has been strong allseason holding opposing teams to a .265 batting average with a 3.20 ERA through 19 games.
In her last five appearances, junior McKenzie Murray has been dominant in the circle going 4-0 with 16 strikeouts and a 1.84 ERA.
Senior Tori Free and sophomore Madison Morris are limiting opposing hitters to .196 and .207 mark at the plate, respectively.
SCOUTING REPORT: Radford Highlanders (9-10)
Radford is 9-10 overall on the season coming off a pair of losses to Morehead State and East Tennessee State on back-to-back weekends.
The Highlanders are batting .270 as a team and led by senior 1B/OF Kayla Bishton who paces the offense with a .377 batting average, two homers, 10 RBIs and eight runs scored.
Redshirt sophomore Marissa Gagliano is a base stealing threat leading the squad with 15 runs and 14 stolen bases to go with a .339 batting average.
Brittany Wratchford and Hunter Mundy drive in the bulk of the team's runs with 12 RBIs apiece and five combined home runs.
Abby Morrow leads a pitching staff with a 4.50 ERA as the senior is 8-4 with a 3.04 ERA and 41 strikeouts, while holding opposing offense to .268 at the plate.
Sophomore Kayla Huffman has tossed 27.0 innings with an 0-3 record and 5.44 ERA, while Mallory Marsicek is 1-2 with a 6.46 ERA over 17.1 frames.
SCOUTING REPORT: Maryland Terrapins (4-18-1)
Highlighted by a 4-2 victory and 9-8 win over No. 1 ranked Florida and No. 24 Missouri, respectively, Maryland is 4-18-1 overall and is set to play its first home game this weekend.
Freshman Amanda Brashear paces the squad with a .333 batting average as the Terrapins are batting .271 as a team.
Senior Kristina Dillard and freshman Anna Kufta are the top-two producers combined to score 19 runs and record 19 RBIs.
Redshirt senior Juli Strange with a .322 batting average and 11 runs, while junior Skylynne Ellazar has scored 10 runs and posted six RBIs.
Leading the Terrapins in the circle is redshirt senior Madison Martin who is 3-4 with a 3.13 ERA and 30 strikeouts over 62.2 innings.
Senior Hannah Dewey holds a 5.00 ERA with a 1-8 record over 49.0 innings, while sophomore Ari Jarvis is 0-5 with a 6.66 ERA.
