10/9/2019 9:47:00 AM | Men's Golf, Women's Golf
There will be a dinner and silent auction to raise funds for both the men’s and women’s golf programs
The St. John's men's and women's golf teams will host the 2019 Golf Classic on Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Engineers Country Club in Roslyn, N.Y.
The annual Golf Classic begins with brunch at 11 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. After playing concludes, there will be a reception followed by a silent auction beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The event serves as a way to raise funds for the Red Storm men's and women's golfers, helping them to succeed both on the field and in the classroom. In addition, it allows friends, family, and alumni to come together and interact with this year's men's and women's golf programs.
The event's silent auction will feature a variety of threesome and foursome golf packages as well as one-of-a-kind experiences. Auction items will be set up at the event.
The silent auction will feature an array of fantastic prizes, including playing opportunities at some of the region's premier private clubs.
Sebonack Golf Club (lunch included) - starting bid $2,500
