Official Pregame Receptions Begin Two Hours Prior to Tip-Off for All Seven Red Storm Contests at “The World’s Most Famous Arena.”
QUEENS, N.Y. – The 1870 Court is coming to Midtown this basketball season, as St. John's has partnered with Stout NYC to serve as the official home of Red Storm pregame receptions for all contests at Madison Square Garden. The 1870 Court at Stout NYC opens two hours prior to tip-off.
Beginning this Saturday before the Red Storm squares off with West Virginia, all fans and friends of St. John's Athletics are invited to an exclusive area inside Stout NYC that will feature limited appetizers and a 15% discount off the regular menu, as well as a cash bar with drink specials. All season ticket holders and Red White Club members receive free admission into The 1870 Court while all other St. John's supporters can attend the reception for $10.
The 1870 Court, which was named in honor of the year that the University was founded, initially launched last season as a private hospitality area in Taffner Fieldhouse prior to all Carnesecca Arena games. The expansion of The 1870 Court to Manhattan now offers St. John's patrons a dedicated space to congregate with fellow Johnnies before every home game.
Stout's flagship location is located just steps from Madison Square Garden at 133 West 33rd Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.
