Limited Edition “St. John’s Tough” T-Shirts Now Available To Benefit Local Non-Profits

QUEENS, N.Y. – In an effort to help unite the local community and support New Yorkers in need, the St. John's Athletic Department released a limited edition t-shirt on Thursday whose proceeds will benefit organizations that have remained steadfast in their support of those in need during the pandemic.

Inspired by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's uplifting words "New York Tough," the "St. John's Tough" t-shirt was created for Red Storm supporters to rally together as a University and to help strengthen the bond within our city and state.

The special edition t-shirts are available to purchase online with proceeds supporting St. John's Bread & Life and Blessed Virgin Mary Help of Christians. Bread & Life has been a vibrant part of neighborhood communities in Brooklyn and Queens since 1982. A crucial provider of basic needs and assistance, St. John's Bread & Life provides nearly 3,000 meals every day through its soup kitchen, mobile soup kitchen and food pantry. Blessed Virgin Mary's food pantry also provides support to those in need by regularly serving more than 400 families and over 1,000 people in the local community in Queens.
