Kajan and Multer Earn BIG EAST Weekly Honors

Kajan named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week; Multer earns spot on honor roll
In the final set of weekly conference awards this season, Zsani Kajan and Nicole Multer have been recognized by the league for their efforts. Kajan has been named the conference's offensive player of the week while Multer has found a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Kajan and Multer were both recognized after helping the Red Storm to a 2-1 victory over Villanova in the team's final game of the regular season on Thursday night.Â

Kajan has been named the conference's BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. The Budapest, Hungary, native posted a goal and assist in St. John's win over the Wildcats to help her team lock up the four-seed in the BIG EAST Championship.

Kajan registered at least one point in seven of 10 BIG EAST games this fall to finish atop the league ledger with 17 points, including a conference-best seven goals.

Multer takes home Honor Roll accolades for the first time this season after leading the Red Storm's defense on Thursday night. With the help of Multer, the Johnnies' backline allowed just one attempt on goal as the Red Storm outshot Villanova, 15-5, in Thursday's regular season finale. Multer also picked up an assist in the Red Storm's win over the Wildcats.

St. John's returns to action on Thursday evening with a trip to Cincinnati, as the Johnnies take on Xavier in the semifinal round of the BIG EAST Championship. The two teams will kick off at 5 p.m.
