Game scheduled for Dec. 31 in Washington called off due to COVID concerns in Georgetown program
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's women's basketball team's BIG EAST road opener at Georgetown has been canceled due to COVID issues within the Hoyas program.
Per the BIG EAST's recently amended game cancellation policy, the conference office will attempt to reschedule the games in accordance with the parameters of the policy.
The Red Storm is now set to open BIG EAST road action on Sunday, Jan. 2, at Villanova. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
