St. John’s Athletics Launches UNLIMITED Exchange

Enhanced Name, Image, and Likeness Tools Available to Red Storm Student-Athletes
QUEENS, N.Y. – St. John's Athletics in conjunction with INFLCR announced Friday the launch of UNLIMITED Exchange, an innovative solution to further assist Red Storm student-athletes and businesses streamline Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities.
St. John's UNLIMITED Exchange, a free service offered to all student-athletes, serves as a one-stop platform for NIL that manages reporting, while providing approved businesses, collectives, and individuals with a customized portal for communicating with student-athletes and fulfilling NIL transactions.
"We're so excited about the launch of UNLIMITED Exchange," said Director of Athletics Mike Cragg. "It's about opportunity for the student-athletes that are interested in it, entrepreneurial in spirit and using their Name, Image, and Likeness for their own benefit."
After a business, collective, or individual registers with UNLIMITED Exchange, they can access a searchable database of St. John's student-athletes, and filter student-athletes based on a variety of criteria. They can message Red Storm student-athletes directly in the application or request contact information (or their agent's) to start a discussion about an NIL transaction.
Upon finalization of an NIL deal, the compliance disclosure will include a payment processing tool for businesses to securely pay the student-athlete without any transaction fees. At the end of the calendar year, all transactions within local exchange will be consolidated into one 1099 for easier tax reporting for both student-athletes and registered businesses.
St. John's is one of only nine athletic departments in the nation partnering with INFLCR to offer this new NIL-centric advancement to its student-athletes.
"Our customers – from administrators, to coaches, to student-athletes – are innovative and engaged, and played a key role in helping our product team design and build the INFLCR+ Local Exchange," said INFLCR President Jim Cavale. "Our launch partners are so far ahead of the curve; I'm just humbled by the trust that they've placed in us and in the Local Exchange."
