Jayla Everett Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK- Following yesterday's marquee win over no. 13/14 Creighton, St. John's women's basketball guard Jayla Everett was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference office announced Monday.
The redshirt senior poured in a season-high 20 points in the upset victory over nationally-ranked Creighton. Everett continuously made crucial buckets for the Johnnies on Sunday afternoon. At the beginning of the final quarter as the Bluejays were closing in, she scored six-straight points for the Red Storm over 1:45 to push the St. John's advantage back to double digits.
