Women’s Basketball Attends 2023 BIG EAST Media Day at Madison Square Garden

BIG EAST Coach of the Year Joe Tartamella, Jillian Archer, Amber Brown Unique Drake spoke to the media on Tuesday
NEW YORK- St. John's Women's Basketball Head Coach Joe Tartamella and players Jillian Archer, Amber Brown and Unique Drake attended BIG EAST Media Day at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.
Tartamella and the trio of players interacted with local and national media members as the 2023-24 campaign quickly approaches.
The annual event was held at the "World's Most Famous Arena" in midtown Manhattan with all 11 member institutions in attendance. St. John's will play at the iconic venue for the first time in four years when it opens BIG EAST play against Villanova on Dec. 16. Media day coincided with the release of the preseason poll. The Red Storm were predicted to finish sixth overall and Drake was named Preseason All-BIG EAST Honorable Mention for the first time in her five-year career.
