Red Storm to face Huskies at the home of the Islanders on Jan. 13 at 2 p.m.

Last season, St. John's and UConn played the first-ever women's college basketball at UBS Arena on Jan. 11, at the new home of NHL's New York Islanders.

In the last meeting between the two programs, the Red Storm shocked the No. 4/5 Huskies at the XL Center in Hartford. The monumental victory marked the highest ranked win for the program in over a decade.

UBS Arena is a state-of-the-art $1.1 billion-dollar multi-purpose arena that opened in November 2021. The venue has hosted premiere college basketball contests and Grammy award performers.
