Joe Tartamella Announces Summer Camps at St. John’s

Team camp will be on June 24-25 and the four-day camp will take place on July 24-27
QUEENS, N.Y.- St. John's women's basketball Head Coach Joe Tartamella has announced the dates for his summer camps held at St. John's this summer.
The four-day camp will be held on July 24-27, while the two-day team camp will occur on June 24-25. Both will be held on St. John's campus.
Led by the 2023 BIG EAST Coach of the Year, the four-day camp offers basketball instruction, provides a fun and educational atmosphere for girls entering grades 3-8. The camp will take place inside Carnesecca Arena and Taffner Field House on St. John's campus and will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The cost of the camp is $275 and it includes an NCAA education session. To register for the four-day camp, click here.
The team camp is open to squad's with players entering grades 7-12. The program will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the cost is $350 per team. To register for the team camp, click here.
Tartamella just completed has 11th season at the helm and guided the Red Storm to an NCAA Tournament victory. The Johnnies closed out the 2022-23 campaign with a 23-9 overall record and a 13-7 mark in conference play, its best since 2013-14. On Feb. 21, St. John's defeated perennial power No. 4/5 UConn on the road, its highest ranked win in over a decade.
After leading one of the best turnarounds in all of NCAA Division I, Tartamella received well deserved recognition being named the conference's coach of the year and one of 10 semifinalists for the Naismith National Coach of the Year award.
