BIG EAST Unveils 2024-25 Women’s Basketball Broadcast Schedule

For the first time ever, St. John’s will play on FOX on Dec. 28 against Creighton at Carnesecca Arena
NEW YORK– The BIG EAST Conference unveiled the 2024-25 Women's Basketball broadcast schedule and game times on Thursday afternoon as St. John's will play in four televised regular season contents.
For the first time in program history, St. John's will play on FOX during its BIG EAST home opener on Dec. 28 at Carnesecca Arena. The national telecast will air at 2 p.m. as the Red Storm meet Creighton in Queens.
On Jan. 7, the Johnnies will host DePaul for another national telecast on the FOX family of networks. The Red Storm and Blue Demons will faceoff in Queens on FS1 at 8:30 p.m. at Carnesecca Arena.
Both of St. John's contests against UConn are set to air on SNY. The first meeting is set for Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. inside Carnesecca Arena. On Feb. 12, the Red Storm will head to Storrs, Conn., to take on UConn at Gampel Pavilion on Feb. 15.
The 2025 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament Presented by JEEP returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for a fifth-straight year. FS1 and FS2 will air the quarterfinal, semifinal and championship games of the tournament from Uncasville, Conn. Quarterfinal coverage on March 8 begins on FS1 at noon ET, before FS2 takes over for the 2:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. games. FS1 picks up the remainder of the tournament, with the semifinals on March 9 slated for 2:30 and 5 p.m. The championship game is set to tip off at 7 p.m. on March 10. FloSports will televise the trio of first-round games on March 7.
The 14 remaining BIG EAST contests and six non-conference home games will air on the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports. Game times for BIG EAST contests are now available on RedStormSports.com.
The Red Storm is coming off its second consecutive postseason appearance and a third-place BIG EAST finish. Head Coach Joe Tartamella enters his 13th season at the helm and holds a deep roster comprised of eight returners and six newcomers.
Established in 1974, the St. John's Women's Basketball program is celebrating its 50th anniversary season. In commemoration, season tickets are on sale now for $50 and can be purchased here. The 2024-25 campaign will begin on Nov. 4 when the Johnnies welcome Saint Peter's at Carnesecca Arena.
