St. John’s Announces “4K Day” on December 28 against Creighton

Come out to see the iconic Red Panda’s halftime performance; first 1,000 fans will receive a limited-edition crewneck
QUEENS, N.Y.– On Saturday, December 28 the St. John's women's basketball program will look to pack Carnesecca Arena with over 4,000 fans for its first-ever "4K Day" as it hosts Creighton at 2 p.m.
An action-packed afternoon will include an exclusive St. John's 50th Anniversary crew neck giveaway, a block party between games before the men's basketball takes on Delaware at 6 p.m. and a halftime performance by the famous acrobat, Red Panda.

World-renowned acrobat Red Panda will take to the Carnesecca Arena court for a thrilling halftime performance at both the men's and women's basketball games on Dec. 28. Red Panda has electrified crowds at NBA games for over 30 years and performed in hundreds of college venues across over the country with her famed acrobatic bowl-balancing act. Red Panda will be assisted by CBB on FOX Broadcaster and BIG EAST correspondent John Fanta during her performance at the women's game.
In honor of the program's 50th anniversary season, the first 1,000 fans will receive a vintage limited edition St. John's crewneck. The crewneck features St. John's script from the first-ever uniforms worn by the 1974-75 team and the commemorative 50th anniversary logo on the sleeve. In between games, a block party filled with food trucks and entertainment will be held in the Carnesecca Plaza outside of the arena prior to the men's basketball game against Delaware at 6 p.m.
The Red Storm will meet the Bluejays on FOX, marking the first time in program history the program will play a game on the major cable network.
The Johnnies are off to an 7-1 start to the year, most recently defeating Penn State on the road and rank seventh in the country in scoring defense allowing just 49.4 points per game.
