The program began with a formal press conference from Tartamella, who enters his 14th season at the helm of the program. The Johnnies are coming off their third consecutive winning season and return six players from last year's team, including three starters, which ranks tied for second most in the BIG EAST. Additionally, the Red Storm added six newcomers comprised of five transfers and one true freshman.
The women's basketball season will kick-off on Nov. 3 when the Red Storm welcome Le Moyne at 2 p.m. To purchase season tickets and catch all the action click here, e-mail redstormsports@stjohns.edu or call the box office at 1-888-GO-STORM.
