The slate includes a Rodeo at the Carn Barn (Nov. 19), Girl Scouts Day (Jan. 10) Alumnae Day Red Out (Jan. 24), National Girls and Women in Sports Day Pink Game (Feb. 7) and a Senior Night Johnnies Day Kick-Off (Feb. 18).

The 2025-26 season will kick-off on Monday afternoon as St. John's welcomes Le Moyne for a 2 p.m. contest. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a team schedule poster.
The first 500 students at the season opener will receive a free pair of JLAB Headphones in honor of Derek "DJ" Southerland. The giveaway is a tribute Southerland, a St. John's double alumnus and super fan who sported a pair of headphones at every sporting event he attended. Southerland tragically passed away at the age of 29 in April and his memory will be honored with a moment of silence before tip-off on Monday.
On Nov. 19, the Johnnies will throwdown with Oklahoma State for a "Rodeo at the Carn Barn." The country themed night will feature themed music, contests and bandanna and Chick-Fil-a chicken sandwich giveaways for students as the Red Storm hosts its first Big 12 opponent since 2017.
In December, the Johnnies will host Youth Days welcoming in local basketball teams from the Greater New York City Metropolitan Area as St. John's faces Providence (Dec. 7) and Hofstra (Dec. 13). St. John's women's basketball campers and Junior Johnnies Kids Club members will be welcomed back to Queens. A postgame autograph session will take place after the meeting with the Friars and all kids in attendance will shoot postgame lay-ups after the battle with The Pride.
On Jan. 10, St. John's will celebrate Girl Scouts Day as it meets Butler for a 2 p.m. contest at Carnesecca Arena.
The Red Storm will welcome back former players and their families on Jan. 24 as it celebrates Alumnae Day, recognizing the program's decorated 51-year history. Fans are encouraged to wear their colors for a "Red Out" as St. John's takes on Villanova at 2 p.m.
On Feb. 7, St. John's will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day with its annual pre-game youth clinic. All kids in attendance will be able to participate in the clinic ran by various Red Storm women's sports programs prior to the contest against Seton Hall at 2 p.m. The annual Play4Kay Pink game will also take place on Feb. 7 as the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a free shirt courtesy of Main Street Radiology.
St. John's will honor its four seniors prior to the tilt against Georgetown on Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. The contest will serve as the Johnnies Day Kick-Off celebrating St. John's University's rich history and tradition. The Red Storm men's and women's programs are 6-0 since Johnnies Day was established in 2022.
Additional promotions include a Staff Appreciation Day (Nov. 14) New Year's Celebration (Jan. 1), Y2K night (Jan 21), Everyone Watches Women's Sports Night (Feb. 4) and more. To view the complete 2025-26 promotional calendar, click here.
