Dwyer averaged 17.5 points on 60.0 percent shooting from the floor against No. 23/23 Creighton and Seton Hall last week

NEW YORK – St. John's women's basketball guard Lashae Dwyer was tabbed to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.

The senior was explosive on offense last week, averaging 17.5 points on 60 percent shooting (15-25) from the field and 42.9 percent (3-7) from beyond-the-arc. She also rang up 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.0 assists against No. 23/23 Creighton and Seton Hall.

The Toronto native went off for 18 points on 8-of-16 shooting with three rebounds, three steals and a pair of assists in Omaha, Neb., against No. 23/23 Creighton at D.J. Sokol Arena. Dwyer's trio of steals against the Bluejays moved her into 10th all-time in program history, surpassing Aliyyah Handford's mark of 76 during the 2024-15 campaign.

Against the Pirates on Sunday afternoon, the standout guard scored 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field and drained a 3-pointer. Dwyer also grabbed six rebounds, swiped three steals and dished out a team-high two assists in the contest.

The Miami transfer currently leads the team, averaging 13.3 points per game and has scored in double-figures in 22 of the Red Storm's 27 contests this season. Dwyer's 80 steals and 3.0 steals per contest both lead the BIG EAST and rank 12^th and 13^th in NCAA Division I, respectively. The Toronto native's 80 steals rank tied for eighth-most in program history.

Dwyer earns her second-consecutive BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll nod and her sixth total this season. The explosive guard had previously been tabbed to the conference's honor roll four times during non-conference competition.

Dwyer and the Red Storm will host Georgetown on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. for its home finale. The game will be streamed on the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports inside Carnesecca Arena.
