Carl Gustavsson and Danilo Raicevic Named BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week

The duo clinched the doubles point for the Johnnies against Drexel on Saturday
NEW YORK, N.Y. – Carl Gustavsson and Danilo Raicevic of the St. John's men's tennis team have been named BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday.
Gustavsson and Raicevic become the second Red Storm duo to earn the honor this season after Max Amling and Armando Sotelo picked up the designation on March 24. Leonardo Mileikowsky and Ignacio Vinas were previously tabbed Singles Player of the Week on Feb. 3 and March 11, respectively.
In the Red Storm's 4-2 victory over Drexel, the duo secured a 6-4 win over Will Burridge and Hussein El Tawil on the No. 2 court to clinch the team point for the Johnnies. On the season, the pair is 3-2 together and has won two in a row.
The Johnnies are 19-2 this season, the best start in program history, and have won four straight matches. The Red Storm will return to action on Wednesday when it hosts BIG EAST foe Villanova at 3:30 p.m. at the St. John's Outdoor Tennis Courts.
