QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's women's basketball program added Brooke Moore, a Conference USA Champion this past season at Liberty to its 2025-26 roster.
Moore arrives in Queens after two seasons at Liberty from 2023-25, where she appeared in 32 games as the Flames compiled a 25-7 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. The 6-foot guard out of Georgia was a three-time All-State selection at North Cobb Christian School.
"Brooke is a high-level defender whose versatility and athleticism will help our team on both ends of the floor," said Head Coach Joe Tartamella. "She possesses a work-ethic and drive that we look for in our program and we can't wait to get her on campus."
During the 2024-25 campaign, the Kennesaw, Ga., native averaged 4.8 points, 3.3 rebounds in 14.8 minutes per action. The sophomore shot 46.6 percent from the field and 70.4 percent from the charity stripe. The Kennesaw, Ga., native was College Sports Communicators All-District Team selection earning a 3.79 GPA while majoring in business administration and data analytics.
In 2023-24, her rookie campaign in Lynchburg, Moore played in the first 19 contests of the season before sustaining a season-ending injury in mid-January. The guard averaged 4.3 points and 3.3 rebounds as a freshman. She made an impact from the jump, scoring a career-high 13 points in her collegiate debut in a season-opening victory over Frostburg State on Nov. 6, 2024. A model student in the classroom, she was named a C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal Winner.
In high school, Moore tallied over 1,500 points during her decorate career at North Cobb Christian School and was a four-time all-region honoree from 2019-2023. She was rated the No. 11 prospect in Georgia in her class and the No. 3 small forward according to Prep Girl Hoops. As a senior in high school, she 20.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game.
Moore becomes the third transfer to commit to the Red Storm joining Daniela Abies (Miami) and Shaulana Wagner (Troy) along with six returners from last year's team.
