Andrew Porucznik scored his first collegiate goal in the opening half as six of the Red Storm's eight goals this season have been scored freshmen.
Jeremy Sharp and Luca Fargnoli recorded assists on Porucznik's tally. Sharp, reigning BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll selection has logged three points his last two matches and Fargnoli's helper marked the first of his career.

Shortly after, the Red Storm earned a throw-in as Sharp delivered a toss into a crowd at the edge of the 18-yard box. Fargnoli nudged a header to a waiting Porucznik, as the freshman buried his first collegiate goal with a line drive strike.
The Red Storm had another look on net as Ivar Nå Aga launched that whistle just over the crossbar.
URI earned a penalty kick in the 41st minute as Tiago Barriguinha converted from the penalty spot to put the Rams on top, 2-1.
In the latter half, Julian Jakopovic played in a corner kick and a scrum piled up in front of the goalmouth. Benjelloun fired a close-range shot through the crowd before it was parried away by Lenno Schmidt.
The Johnnies continued to search for their equalizer but the Rams held on over the final 20 minutes to claim a road victory.
