Skye Owen To Miss Remainder of 2025-26 Season

Red Storm senior guard played in six games this year
QUEENS, N.Y. – St. John's senior guard Skye Owen will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 women's basketball season due to a concussion she sustained against Oklahoma State on Nov. 19, 2025.
Owen played in six games of her senior season, averaging 20.3 minutes per game with three starts. She averaged 6.2 points per game with 12 total assists and three rebounds.
During her career at St. John's, the Staten Island, N.Y., native played in 82 games and averaged 5.6 points per game on 33.5% shooting (165-for-492).
St. John's (15-6, 5-5 BIG EAST) will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 24 for a home matchup against Villanova (15-4, 8-2 BIG EAST). Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m. for a nationally-televised contest on FS1.
