Ana Serafinko Tabbed to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

The senior adds her third BIG EAST Weekly Award appearance of the season
NEW YORK — St. John's softball's Ana Serafinko was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following the Red Storm's time in Greenville, N.C. at the Battle at the Max, the conference announced on Monday.
In the circle, the southpaw appeared in three of the Johnnies' five games, producing a 1-1 record while posting a 1.83 ERA in 15.1 innings of work. The Chino Hills, Calif., native surrendered just eight hits and four runs while striking out 22 batters.
Serafinko also went 3-for-5 (.600) at the plate, adding her first run of the 2026 campaign in the Red Storm's narrow 2-1 loss at East Carolina.
The Honor Roll placement was the senior's fourth of her career and second this season. Serafinko was tabbed to the Honor Roll on Feb. 9 and was named the BIG EAST's Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 16.
Serafinko leads the Johnnies' pitching staff through March 2 with a 2.20 ERA, 98 strikeouts and one save. She sits at 570 strikeouts for her career, just 20 away from breaking Tori Free's program record of 589.
